Matt's Weekend Read!

I have been Reading two or three books a week for a while and I picked this up last weekend with my friend Rachel out of a clearance bin at Building 19, yes I love Cheap Stores my read from the dollar bin is Memoirs of the life of John Constable he was a English Painter and he had a amazing life and this book is turning out to be quite a good read Here are some of his paintings.

By the way I totally have the same haircut. He was quite a dashing looking fellow, ya think.

Matt's Book of the Week.

In case you did not know Yes I read and I spend like $40.00 a month on magazines since I have been about 15 give or take Yes I just added it up in my head DAMN!!!Thats a lot of trees and Paper$$$ Well I also read books I buy a lot of used books!! Lets not go there!!!

My book of the week is Holy Terror By Bob Colacello it is the story about the late great Crazy Andy Warhol. Damn What a story is all I can say Divas, Drugs, Art, Sex, and it was like reading a long issue of a gossip magazine. I am still halfway through but it is a Juicy read.

I had nightmares about this!!!

Beat Box Jams Of The Week

Yes I went out and got some new jams this week Jennifer Hudson's Freshmen album named simply Jennifer Hudson. It has some great Jams to listen to while you are putting your party clothes on before you go out. Spotlight the first track is a instant classic for all you Divas out there and I love the song 'Pocketbook' it is a great tune and remixed right it would be "off the chain" at the club.

I don't own a Pocketbook but I can smack a bitch with my Dr. Who bag if you like. I have waited a long time for her first album to come out for some time and my I pod seems to be happy this week.

I also Purchased Keane's new album Perfect Symmetry Yes I do love my British Boys and I saw them in Boston last summer with my friend Susan.

They where so amazing to see in person and major cute by the way!!!!!!!!!I am such a dork!! Well back to the music the first track from the album Spiralling is unique in a weird way and my brain keeps playing the tune over and over again. The Second track off the album The lovers are losing made me want to run when I first heard it then Poof I saw the video a few days later and the concept of the video is Tom Chaplin the lead singer runs around and is being chased. So I thought I must be kinda crazy!!!

Most of the other songs are Jamin but a much different sound than the other albums Keane has previously came out with. The third track Better than this will be a great song to place on a television show during a ending scene. Prepare to hear it on some Gossip Girl, Dirty Sexy Money type of show. I have a good ear for stuff like that. God knows you hear enough Coldplay on TV!!!Ha

Wow I just pissed myself

So I almost lost my shit a while back when one of my favorite designers Alex Carleton owner of Rogues Gallery in Portland Maine was in Men's Vogue, I have loved his clothing for years and in my closet my two favorite t shirts are from his store. I own a scarf and a coat but those damn T shirts I cant stop wearing. I love the whole aspect of his products and think that his products are so not the norm they are chic and worn like your favorite sweater from college.
